Hi, i’m Tracy…
I’m a private chef with 25 years of experience cooking for families and individuals who love great food. I’m also the founder of Shefdress—a luxury, tailored chef-wear brand designed to celebrate women in professional kitchens.
I’ve been plant-based for more than 15 years, and I love helping others discover how approachable and delicious a plant-forward lifestyle can be. Along the way, I earned a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, a Pastry Certificate from Tante Marie Cooking School in San Francisco, a Certificate in Commercial Cookery from Sterling College in Sydney, Australia, and an M.A. in Psychology from Chapman University. I also co-authored the vegan cookbook The Compassionate Kitchen.
Today, you’ll find me cooking and creating in the Palm Springs area, where I live with my husband Troy (troyzid.com), our Italian Greyhound, Scarlett, and our two fluffy cats, Aurora and Maleficent.
